Pit Bull Terrier - Carter - Large - Adult - Male - Dog
Carter is a friendly, outgoing boy, who always seems to have a smile on his face. He came to the shelter as a stray so we don't know much about his historyWhat we do know, however, is that he's a young, strong, and athletic dog who will make a great exercise buddy. He would thrive with some basic obedience training that builds a bond between him and his new owner. Carter has shown us that he doesn't do well with other dogs so should go to a home without other dogs. We're not sure how he'll be with cats but can test him here at the shelter if you're interested in adopting and have a kitty roommate. Carter's new owner will need to manage his environment and his behavior to ensure that he continues being the great dog that we know he can be. We are recommending Carter to a home without children under the age of 12. He has a lot of love to give and is sure to make his new owner a proud and happy adopter!
