Opal is a sweet old lady that goes by the name "Opie." She was surrendered to the SPCA through no fault of her own because her previous owners are moving out of state. She is an indoor/outdoor cat but likes to sleep on the bed at night. She lived with another cat and a dog in her previous home and was tolerant of them both, but she's an independent cat that prefers to be alone. She does like attention from her human companions though and she'll purr up a storm while you're petting her. We think Opie would do best in a quieter home where she can be the queen of the house.
